Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. The Practice-A-Thon fundraiser will support 6 weeks of intensive piano lessons, coupled with art, and STEM lessons to over 150 students in 8 neighborhoods in Newark. This year, I organized the "10,000 hours practice challenge," where teams competed against each other to see who could practice the most. We have raised over $75,000 dollars and practiced over 8,000 hours!
Students in Newark face transportation and systemic barriers to quality music lessons. The "Piano Bus" breaks down historical barriers and opens up the pathway to lifelong learning which starts with piano and ends in success in all areas of life. Our children are our future - invest in the future by donating today!
